The traditional employment options in HIT have historically been on one of two tracks - permanent staff or "road warrior" consultant. Lucida offers flexibility. You can engage as a road warrior consultant, a local consultant, or, as a Lucida traveler and experience the excitement of exploring a new location for the duration of your engagement. We even offer permanent employment opportunities.
Contractual Consultant - "Road Warrior" Option
Working as a Road-Warrior, you'll live the life of a traditional IT consultant, commuting from your permanent residence to your engagement. Lucida will work with you to coordinate all the details of your weekday living accommodations, per diem and travel-related expenses.
Contractual Consultant - "Traveler" Option
The Traveler Option offers you the opportunity to truly experience living in a new, interesting location for a defined period of time. We secure safe, private housing near your assignment where you'll live for the duration of your engagement. We'll even help you arrange periodic trips home if you like.
